Abergavenny 3-4 Cardiff Met (After Extra Time)

Cardiff Met, who needed extra time to overcome Abergavenny in a pulsating clash in Gwent. Naomi Clipston opened the scoring for Met on 27' before Steph Turner popped up at the back post to double the lead just after the half hour mark. The home side would pull one back before the break though, courtesy of a Met own goal. Clipston got her second to regain the two goal advantage for Met with a free-kick, and for a long time that looked like it would be enough. The home side though had other ideas, Kate Jeremiah reducing the deficit with minutes left before Maxine Mudge converted a penalty in the final minute to send the game into extra time. It took Monique Fischer's 96th minute winner in the additional period to separate the sides, and set up the all-Cardiff final.
