The top division of the women’s game in Wales is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, and will be known as the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League for the fourth season running.
Following the boost in profile last season, Orchard will continue to use their PR expertise to support the league and attract more players and investment into the women’s game in Wales. Offering support through online activities such as videos and online marketing, as well as helping events such as hosting clubs for International Women's Day and offering services for the League's Annual Awards Dinner.
Commenting on the deal, Ianthe Mumford, Welsh Premier Women’s League General Manager, said: “The partnership between the Welsh Premier Women's League and Orchard has grown since they first joined us as league sponsor, and I am absolutely delighted that they have renewed again for the 2019/20 season. Women's football has never been more popular and the support from Orchard is crucial in helping us to grow and develop the League, bringing it to an even wider audience and the next generation.”
